Hello! My name is Cierra and I am a hopeless romantic with a BA in English from Hollins University. I started my freelance editing business in May 2024 and am based in the Metro Atlanta Area. I am so excited to work with you!

I specialize in romantic narratives of all kinds, however I am open to servicing any genre. Under the umbrella of romance, I have experience with fantasy, cozy/fluffy, erotic, and paranormal romances. My editing style aligns with the Chicago Manual of Style and the MLA style. I am familiar with the Oxford style as well, but it is not my preference.

During my studies, I concentrated on multicultural American literature and history. This has given me a foundation of understanding and recognizing the importance of intercultural narratives. I have a knowledgeable foundation on the works of many cultural works: Black American literature; Asian American literature; Arab American literature; Hispanic/Latin American literature; and Native American literature.

My mission is one simple thing: to put your best story forward! There are three simple steps to follow when booking with me:

1. Send me an email (or fill out an inquiry form on my website) detailing your piece, the current word count, the goal word count, the genre, and a few goals for your finished piece.

2. Book a consultation meeting with me to discuss your needs for your piece, what you need assistance with, and some of your expectations. These will be virtual only.

3. Send a 5-10 page sample for me to edit. Please be sure it is in Times New Roman, double space, 12 pt font. This will be the sample that I will use to assess where you are with your work and allow us to become familiar with each other’s style.
